For Frostbite's 9 stages, there are [(9 * 9) - 9] / 2 = 36 possible pairings of different stages. For a uniform distribution (like randomly picking), we would expect each pairing to occur 100% / 36 = 2.78% of the time, on average. The total number of ban pairs recorded is 577. By dividing the above table by 577, we can see what each pair's actual % of occurences is in reality. Finally, that real % occurence is divided by 2.78% for a ratio of how many times higher or lower it is than the uniform average.

About The Stats & This Webpage
- At Genesis 6 and Frostbite 2019, two "major" sized tournaments, competitors during pools were asked by pool captains to optionally fill out a short survey sheet.
- Original source: the stage surveys were coordinated by "Jaaahsh" (Josh). He published the survey results as these Google spreadsheets: Genesis 6 and Frostbite 2019. More info about the surveys can be found in these spreadsheets.
